The National Competitiveness and Productivity Council of Saint Lucia, with the founding of the Inter American Development Bank, has contracted to INFYDE to design the Competitiveness Agenda of Saint Lucia. The first stage is to elaborate a diagnosis of the competitive situation of this Caribbean island. INFYDE is applying the smart specialization approach to help to Saint Lucia’s stakeholders to establish a vision for the competitive development of the country in the short, medium and long term, and on this basis, to identify specialization priorities in the fields of economic sectors, scientific areas and key enabling technologies (KETs).
The Permanent Secretary of the Department of Finance of Saint Lucia’s Government celebrated a meeting with INFYDE aimed at establishing the general framework for the project development.
